Backpack Gear exists so backpacks do not need to pretend they are chestplates.

Config rule

Pack makers can allow or block wearing a backpack with a chestplate, depending on balance.

Scope

The slot stores equipped backpack state. Backpack inventory contents remain responsibility of the backpack mod.
